There are some preparation methods to manufacture AR magnesium oxide. In the previous, we talked about the vapor phase method and magnesium hydroxide calcination method. Today, let us talk about other two methods.
The brine-ammonium bicorbonate method
The basic magnesium carbonate was generated by the reaction between brine and ammonium bicarbonate. And then, the silicon steel grade magnesium oxide can be made after maturing, washing, dehydrating, drying, calcining, smash, refining and tempering.
The carbonization method
The basic magnesium carbonate was generated by the bitter spar after burning, digesting and carbonizing. And by thermal decomposition, calcining, smashing and dry blowing are made into light magnesium oxide. The chemical equations are:
The ammonium bicorbonate method is: to refine the mother liquor, which is produced from salt industry of seawater. Its magnesium ion content is about 50g/L. Mixing it with ammonium bicarbonate according to the proper proportion, and make the precipitation reaction. By centrifugal dewatering, stoving, calcining, milling and grading, packaging are made into the light magnesium oxide. The chemical equations are:
