During calcining process in the furnace, the temperature of ore roasting are different because of skill and other reasons. When the temperature achieves 400 to 600 degree centigrade, the magnesite interior structure is loose, the hole between crystals achieves the highest. Therefore, the magnesium oxide shows the maximum activity.
3.When the temperature achieves 750 to 850 degree centigrade, the porosity between crystals decreases, and achieves the optimal range for magnesium cement to react. The activity is modest. When the calcination temperature greater than 750 to 850 degree centigrade, it will become over burned magnesium oxide with low activity even inactive. In a certain range of activity, the high active magnesium oxide has good quality, low active magnesium oxide has bad quality.
