Tianjin University of Science self-developed the new technology, production high pure magnesium oxide by magnesium chloride pyrolysis method. Recently got the honor of”Tianjin City Science and Technology Invention Award”. The project had filled the gaps of continuous production of high pure magnesium powder technology and product, reached the international advanced level.
This new technology completed by Tianjin University of Science and Technology studying and designing, for the first time to use continuous pyrolysis, dynamic calcination process and equipment into the production of magnesium oxide powder in China. It effective solved the problem of high-temperature gas and powder separation and corrosion, realized the full use of waste heat, energy conservation and environmental protection efficiency.
Industry experts believe that the project process route is short, low cost and high value-added products. Its successful use of magnesium chloride pyrolysis direct production of high purity magnesium oxide products, ending of the history of domestic magnesium-based functional materials long-term depend on imports. Quicken the pace of national marine resource utilization, and playing a positive role in improving the degree of precision marine chemical products.
