It uses the magnesium sulfate solution as raw material to edulcorate and refine. Regarding the purity aqueous ammonia as precipitator, and then, adding it into magnesium solution, the magnesium hydroxide will be subsided. Next, the plate-and-frame filter press separate solidity and liquor. After washing, the residue obtains magnesium hydroxide with high purity. After drying and burning, the high purity magnesium oxide will be made.
Through water separation and edulcoration, it will precipitate into magnesium slurry. And then, the magnesium hydroxide will become magnesium oxide after digestion, drying and burning. The chemical equation is: MgO+H2O→Mg(OH)2Mg(OH)2→MgO+H2O
